ASTM A588 Corten Steel
A588 corten steel plate is used in welding, construction machinery, riveted and bolted structures, but is mainly used in welded bridges and buildings where weight reduction or longevity is required. This kind of steel has significantly better atmospheric corrosion resistance than copper-containing or copper-free carbon structural steel under most environmental conditions.
