Products Description
The production process of weather-resistant steel plates usually includes the following processes:
Raw material preparation: Select appropriate raw materials, usually steel with specific chemical composition, to meet the requirements of weather-resistant steel plates.
Smelting and casting: The raw materials are put into a high-temperature furnace and smelted into molten steel. Then, the molten steel is poured into a predetermined casting mold and allowed to cool and solidify to form a steel billet.
Hot rolling: The steel billet is heated to the appropriate temperature, and then continuously rolled through a hot rolling mill to press the steel billet into the required plate thickness. The hot rolling process may also include multiple passes of rolling and cooling control to obtain the required mechanical properties and surface quality.
Pickling and rust removal: After hot rolling, the surface of the weather-resistant steel plate may have oxidation, rust or other impurities. To remove these impurities, pickling and rust removal are often performed. This can be done by immersing the steel plate in an acidic solution to remove oxides and rust from the surface.
