S460J0W conforms to EN 10025-5, a European standard for structural steels with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance. The steel offers a minimum yield strength of 460 MPa, good weldability, and reliable low-temperature performance, which makes it suitable for harsh outdoor environments and industrial applications requiring long-term durability.

Self-Protecting Rust Layer
The steel forms a stable oxide layer when exposed to air, protecting it from further corrosion. This eliminates the need for painting in many outdoor applications, reducing long-term maintenance costs.

High Strength and Load-Bearing Capacity
