EN 10025 S355J2WP Plates

 

S355J2WP steel is a structural steel grade that is hot rolled in technical shipping conditions and has increased atmospheric corrosion resistance. The primary alloying elements are chromium, nickel, and copper, with phosphorus added for added self-protective properties. If the steel reacts with elements in the environment, a coat of rust forms over time, thereby protecting the steel from corrosion.

 

S355J2WP, a corrosion-resistant steel plate that meets EN 10025 5 standards, is mostly used for container steel. Furthermore, architecture, smokestacks, fabrication, freight wagons, silos, pylons, and bridges all use S355J2WP steel with increased atmospheric fracture toughness. The copper and chromium alloying of S355J2WP steel guarantee the creation of a strongly adhering protective coating of corrosion, while also ensuring a pleasing appearance.
