A633 Grade D High Strength Sheet Metal Product Description
A633 Grade D is a U.S. standard low alloy plate that is a normalised high strength structural steel, ideal for welding, riveting or bolting. This low alloy steel material is suitable for use at lower ambient temperatures and requires notch toughness superior to rolled material of comparable strength. This material shall have good austenitic grain size and shall be heat treated to a normalised condition. Its chemical composition should be determined by thermal analysis. Tensile tests should also be carried out.
