PPGL Steel Coil
The prepainted steel sheet in coil is a product obtained by subjecting a hot-dipped galvalume steel sheet to a surface chemical treatment (coating).
PPGL stands for pre-painted galvalume steel, which is a kind of color-coated steel with GL as substrate. It combines the strength of steel with excellent anti-corrosion of Zn-Al coating. The galvalume coating is made of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. Except for their excellent corrosion resistance, PPGL sheets also have high thermal reflectivity, which makes them heat-resisting.

The substrate sheet first goes through a pre-treatment system for smoothing, cleaning, and degreasing. After that, a chemical conversion coating layer is formed. Then it will go through the coil coating process to be painted. The most commonly used method is double-sided and double-painted, which means both sides are painted twice. For special uses, it can be painted less or more. Then you will get PPGL coils for sale. And you can profile or shear the coils into sheets on the basis of your requirements.
