‌SA387 Grade 22 Class 2 (SA387Gr22CL2 for short) pressure vessel steel is a low alloy heat-resistant steel plate, mainly used for manufacturing welded boilers and high temperature pressure vessels‌.

 

SA387Gr22CL2 boiler quality steel complies with ASTM and ASME standards, and is equivalent to A387/A387M of ASTM standards. The "S" in its full name is the code of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), "A" represents steel material, "387" is the technical condition serial number, "Gr22" represents grade 22, and "CL2" is level‌1.

 

SA387Gr22CL2 boiler steel has excellent high temperature strength and thermal stability, can work for a long time at high temperature, and is very suitable for manufacturing high temperature equipment.
