Common Cutting Methods
Laser Cutting: Suitable for processing complex shapes, with fast cutting speed and high precision. Laser power should be adjusted according to the steel plate thickness (e.g., 5000-8000W laser for 30mm thick steel plate).
Flame Cutting: Suitable for cutting thicker steel plates (e.g., >50mm), but may affect surface quality.
Plasma Cutting: Lower cost, suitable for rapid cutting of medium-thickness plates.
Process Parameters Reference
Laser Power: For 30mm thick steel plates, a laser power of 5000-8000W is recommended, with a cutting speed of 1.5-3m/min.
Auxiliary Gas: Nitrogen or oxygen, with nitrogen used in scenarios requiring a smooth cutting surface.
Focal Position: Should be adjusted according to thickness to ensure uniform cutting depth.
Stock Specifications: Common thicknesses range from 8-200mm, with widths from 1500-3900mm, and can be cut to customer-specified dimensions.
