Zirconium Alloy UNS R60702 Round Bar is a commercial form of pure zirconium. Zirconium is an active metal that has a high affinity for oxygen and can form a protective oxide layer in air at room temperature. The oxide layer is very thin and resistant to acid and alkali. This protective oxide gives zirconium alloys excellent corrosion resistance. The oxide layer can be enhanced by heat treatment process. A properly formed reinforced oxide layer serves as an excellent bearing surface for a variety of materials, imparts impressive corrosion resistance in high-speed systems, and can improve corrosion resistance in certain aggressive environments. Even at low temperatures, zirconium alloys exhibit good ductility and have good strength comparable to other common engineering alloys. UNS R60702 round steel has high corrosion resistance and is used in the chemical and petrochemical industries.
Scope Of Application
1. Heat treatment industry. Such as furnace roller, bell furnace and annealing furnace, etc.
2. Calciner. For example, it is used to calcination to produce high-performance corundum, calcination of chromite to produce chromite alloy, and recovery of nickel used as catalyst in petrochemical industry.
