Products Description
20Mn2 alloy steel is a kind of alloy structural steel, which has the characteristics of medium strength, high plasticity during cold deformation, good low temperature performance, weldability and machinability. The steel can be used to manufacture riveted welders and screws and nuts in the hot rolled and normalized state. After the appropriate metal heat treatment, the microstructure is uniform sortenite, bainite or very fine pearlite, so it has high tensile strength, and can also be used as tempering parts, cold forging parts and riveted welders. In addition, 20Mn2 alloy steel can also replace 20Cr steel to make carburized pinion, small shaft, low requirements piston pin, cross pin head, diesel engine sleeve copper, automobile jacking rod, transmission lever and so on.
Scope Of Application
The steel is commonly used in the manufacture of mechanical parts and components such as gears, bearings, pins, etc. The addition of manganese can improve the strength and toughness of steel, increase the hardness depth, and improve the heat treatment hardening ability of steel. At the same time, due to the low carbon content, 20Mn2 has relatively good weldability and cold deformation performance.
