How to punch the stainless steel plate?

Stainless steel plate is a fixed size of stainless steel material, which is commonly used to make electrical, mechanical, water treatment and other products. For stainless steel plate, mechanical processing generally has cutting, punching and so on, and among them punching is the most common processing method. The role of punching is to traverse the stainless steel plate and adjust the corresponding external dimensions or shapes to achieve special performance.

Due to the good corrosion resistance of stainless steel plate, the requirements are higher when punching, in which the tool used is also very important, should use the tool made of high-speed carbide material, and should be correctly polished and processed to ensure its quality, to avoid scratching the tool, to prevent the improper use of the surface phenomenon of burns and overload phenomenon. In addition, attention should be paid to cooling when punching to avoid deformation and dehardening.

In the actual operation process, we should use proper punching specifications, pressure, cooling and other parameters to ensure the best condition and improve efficiency, in addition, according to different hole diameters, we should also reasonably select the size of punching specifications. If the hole diameter is large, firstly, the large size mould should be used, and then continue to reduce the mould to the appropriate hole diameter.

At the same time, the special characteristics of the stainless steel plate should be used to add a certain degree of strength to the workpiece, to avoid the stainless steel plate underneath breaking due to the large hole diameter. In addition, we should always check whether there are any impurities in the process of production, especially in the mould, and make sure that there are no impurities underneath the mould before replacing the mould.
