SUS308 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance and is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.
Heat treatment process
The heat treatment process of SUS308 stainless steel wire rod, forgings, plates, and round steel mainly includes solution treatment and aging treatment. Solution treated stainless steel is heated to 1050-1100°C, maintained for a certain period of time, and then cooled slowly to fully dissolve the alloy elements and improve the corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of the material. Aging treatment is to heat the stainless steel to 400-60°C after solid solution treatment, keep it for a certain period of time, and then cool it to stabilize the lattice structure and improve the mechanical properties of the material.
