Welding quality

(1) Before removing rust, oil, water and other impurities on the surface of the weldment, the welding rod and flux must be dried.
(2) Deep and narrow groove forms should be avoided in the first layer weld and single pass weld of welding seam and butt multi-layer welding to prevent defects such as cracks, incomplete welding and slag inclusion.
(3) The stiffness of the structural parts increases, and the crack tendency of the weld also increases, so when welding the structural parts with large stiffness, it is appropriate to choose the low-hydrogen alkaline electrode, preheating before welding or stress relief heat treatment measures after welding.
(4) When the ambient temperature is lower than -10 ℃, the joint cooling speed is faster. In order to prevent cracks, the following measures should be taken to slow down the cooling speed: ① Preheat before welding, maintain the interlayer temperature during welding; ② Use low hydrogen or ultra-low hydrogen welding materials; ③ The welding current must be increased when the spot welding, the weld section and length of the spot welding must be appropriately increased, and the welding page should be preheated if necessary; ④ The whole weld is welded, try to avoid interruption, and fill the arc pit when extinguishing.
Welding process

Such as manual arc welding, submerged arc welding, carbon dioxide gas welding, electroslag welding, gas welding, resistance welding, argon arc welding, brazing and so on.
