What material is wear-resistant plate?

Wear-resistant plate is steel, and its main components are low-carbon steel plate and alloy wear-resistant layer. The alloy wear-resistant layer occupies 1/2~1/3 of the thickness of the entire plate; because the main chemical component inside is chromium, it can reach The content of all materials is 20%~30%, so its wear resistance is very good.
Characteristics of wear-resistant plates

1. Impact resistance: The impact resistance of the wear-resistant plate is very good. During the process of conveying materials, even if there is a very high drop, it will not cause much damage to the wear-resistant plate.

2. Heat resistance: Generally, wear-resistant plates below 600 degrees can be used normally. If we add some vanadium and molybdenum when making wear-resistant plates, then there will be no problem at high temperatures below 800 degrees.

3. Corrosion resistance: Since the wear-resistant plate contains a large amount of chromium, the corrosion resistance of the wear-resistant plate is excellent, and there is no need to worry about corrosion.

4. Cost-effectiveness: The price of wear-resistant plates is 3 to 4 times that of ordinary steel plates, but the service life of wear-resistant plates is more than 10 times longer than ordinary steel plates, so its cost-effectiveness is relatively high.

5. Easy processing: The wear-resistant plate has very strong weldability, and it can also be easily bent into various shapes, making it very convenient to process.
In many factories, wear-resistant plates are used as conveyor belts. Because of their very strong impact resistance, they will not deform even if the height difference of the items being conveyed is very large, and because they have Very good corrosion resistance, it will maintain a good service life no matter what it is conveyed.
