Indonesian Customer Delegation Visits GNEE, Precisely Docks With Cut Steel Plate Procurement Needs

Recently, a delegation from a well-known Indonesian construction engineering and metal processing enterprise crossed mountains and seas to visit GNEE for business inspections and cooperation negotiations, focusing on the procurement of customized cut steel plates.

"We are most concerned about the dimensional accuracy and corrosion resistance of cut steel plates, which are directly related to the safety of engineering structures," the delegation clarified their core demands at the beginning of the inspection. In response to the special requirements for steel corrosion resistance under Indonesia's tropical marine climate, GNEE's technical team displayed the test data of the special anti-corrosion coating process on site. By comparing the product weather resistance test reports under different working conditions, they intuitively presented the application advantages of cut steel plates in high humidity and high salt spray environments. The delegation members recorded carefully throughout the process, frequently communicating and asking questions with technical personnel in English, and highly recognized the automation level of GNEE's equipment, the standardization level of processes, and the rigor of testing. They randomly selected 3 groups of samples and sent them to a third-party testing institution for review.

In the business negotiation session, both parties conducted precise docking on the specific parameters of cut steel plates. The Indonesian customer's cut steel plates purchased this time will be mainly used for the auxiliary structures of a cross-sea bridge in Southeast Asia and the construction of industrial park workshops, requiring matching various specifications of special-shaped cut parts, and putting forward clear requirements for the delivery cycle and cross-border logistics. The delegation elaborated on personalized needs such as "dimensional error ≤ 0.5mm", "support for on-demand segmented cutting", and "adaptation to local welding processes in Indonesia".

Combined with the service experience in the Southeast Asian market, the GNEE team put forward targeted solutions: on the one hand, the technical department took the lead in drawing exclusive cutting drawings and used 3D modeling technology to simulate installation adaptability in advance; on the other hand, they jointly formulated an integrated plan of "direct port delivery + customs clearance agency" with logistics partners to ensure the efficient connection of products from the production workshop to the Indonesian project site. On the basis of full inspection and consultation, both parties reached an agreement on product specifications, quality standards, delivery time, and payment methods, and signed the first batch of procurement contracts for 150 tons of customized cut steel plates on site, covering Q355B, Q235, and other steel grades, with a contract value of several million yuan.
