GNEE Group is a steel enterprise group integrating steel production, sales and after-sales services, and international trade.Invested 200 million yuan to transform advanced equipment and production lines, including the implementation of ISO9001-2000 quality management system and ISO14001 environmental protection system. At the same time, we actively developed diversification and formed a production system based on carbon steel and stainless steel as the main products, covering pipes, Profiles and plates. We adhere to: Based on strict quality control, technological innovation and professional services, we provide a standardized trading platform, become a brand enterprise in the field of international trade of metal materials, and add luster to Made in China.

ASTM A131 is a standard specification for structural steel used in shipbuilding. It covers various grades of carbon steel and low-alloy steel plates, shapes, and bars intended primarily for ship construction. The ASTM A131 standard is widely recognized and accepted by the marine industry as it provides guidelines for the properties and characteristics required for shipbuilding materials.
The ASTM A131 specification includes several grades, each with its own specific chemical composition and mechanical properties to meet different design requirements. Some commonly used grades within the ASTM A131 standard include:
Grade A: This grade is typically used for ordinary strength shipbuilding applications. It has a minimum yield strength of 34,000 psi (235 MPa).

Grade B: This grade offers increased strength compared to Grade A and is suitable for ships operating at moderate temperatures. It has a minimum yield strength of 34,000 psi (235 MPa).
Grade D: This grade is known for its higher tensile strength and toughness compared to Grades A and B. It has a minimum yield strength of 34,000 psi (235 MPa).
Grade AH36, DH36, EH36: These high-strength grades are specifically designed for shipbuilding and have excellent weldability and impact resistance. They offer a minimum yield strength of 51,000 psi (355 MPa) and ultimate tensile strength ranging from 71,000 to 90,000 psi (490-620 MPa).

Grade FH36: This grade provides high-strength properties similar to AH36, DH36, and EH36 but with improved corrosion resistance. It has a minimum yield strength of 51,000 psi (355 MPa) and ultimate tensile strength ranging from 71,000 to 90,000 psi (490-620 MPa).
The ASTM A131 material is predominantly used for shipbuilding due to its excellent combination of strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance. It undergoes various tests and inspections to ensure compliance with the specified requirements, including chemical composition, mechanical properties, and impact testing.
