SGV410 Boiler Steel Plate is a Japanese standard steel plate used in the manufacture of boilers and pressure vessels. It is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, power plants, and boiler systems. Delivery Condition of SGV410 medium And low strength pressure vessel plate:
Plates with Thickness ≤ 38mm:
Generally delivered in the hot-rolled state, but can be normalized if required.
Plates with Thickness > 38mm:
Should undergo tempering or hot-forming with pressure to achieve a proper crystal grain size.
Plates with Thickness < 100mm:
To improve thermal properties or enhance weldability, these plates can also undergo hot processing control as needed.

Production Process for SGV410 Steel Plate:
Raw Material Preparation:
Includes the use of scrap steel, pig iron, and molten iron.
Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) Smelting:
Steel is smelted in an electric arc furnace.
Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF) Treatment:
Steel is processed in a BOF for further refinement.
LF Furnace Steel Refining:
Steel undergoes further refining in the LF furnace.
Vacuum Treatment (VD/VOD):
Steel is treated in a vacuum or VOD furnace to reduce impurities.
Heating and Rolling:
The steel is heated and then rolled into plate form.
Heat Treatment (Normalizing, Tempering):
Steel is normalized or tempered to achieve the required mechanical properties.
Cutting, Inspection, and Warehousing:
After rolling and heat treatment, the steel plates are cut, inspected, and stored.
Shape, Size, Weight, and Tolerances:
The shape, size, weight, and allowable tolerances of SGV410 steel plates are in compliance with JIS G 3193.
The allowable tolerances for plate length and cut edge width are governed by special provisions outside of the standard.
