1. Pressure processing method of steel
Most steel materials are processed by pressure to make plastic deformation of the processed steel (slab, ingot, etc.). According to the different steel processing temperature, it is divided into cold processing and hot processing. The main processing methods of steel are:
1. Rolling
The metal blank passes through the gap (various shapes) of a pair of rotating rolls. Due to the compression of the rolls, the material cross-section is reduced and the length is increased. This is the most commonly used production method for steel products. It is mainly used to produce profiles, Plates, pipes. Divided into cold rolling and hot rolling.
2. Forging
A forging method that uses the reciprocating impact force of a forging hammer or the pressure of a press to change the blank into the shape and size we need. It is generally divided into free forging and die forging, and is often used to produce large-sized materials, blanks and other materials with large cross-sectional dimensions.
3. Pull
is the processing method of drawing the rolled metal blank (type, tube, product, etc.) through the die hole to reduce the cross section to increase the length. Most of them are used for cold processing.
4. Squeeze
The metal is placed in a closed extruder, a pressure is applied at one end, the metal is extruded from the specified die hole to obtain a finished product of the same shape and size, which is mostly used to produce non-ferrous metal materials.
