With the advantages of high hardness, quenching and tempering heat treatment, through adding special chemical elements, AGICO supplies XAR (Extra Abrasion Resistant) Steel plate product of different grades are developed ( XAR 400, XAR 450, XAR 500,XAR 550, XAR600) tailored for all applications: mining, heavy equipments in steel mills, cement industry, agricultural machinery. Normally hardness of XAR Steel differs due to the delivery state, for example, after annealing to soft, Hardness of XAR 600 at room temperature is 300HB (max), after hardening or heat treatment, it increases to 550 HB(min).

Production |
Hot rolled stainless steel strip is a semifinished product obtained from the hot rolling of slabs or billets and is produced for conversion by cold rolling.
Cold rolled stainless steel strip is manufactured from hot rolled, annealed and pickled strip by cold rolling on polished rolls. Depending on the thickness desired, the cold rolling requires various numbers of passes through the mill to effect the necessary reduction and to secure the desired surface characteristics and m echanical properties. Only three rolled (unpolished) finishes (No. 1, No. 2 and bright annealed) and one polished finish (mill buffed) are commonly supplied on stainless steel strip. |
