Products Description
ASTM 8620 alloy steel is a low alloy steel, also known as SNCM220 steel.It has high strength, high toughness and good wear resistance, and is usually used to manufacture mechanical parts with high load and high-speed movement, such as gears, bearings, cycloidal wheels and so on. In addition, 8620 alloy steel can also be further improved by heat treatment, such as quenching and tempering, as well as normalizing and surface quenching.
The chemical composition of 8620 alloy steel includes carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel and molybdenum, and the precise ratio of these elements makes the material have excellent mechanical and physical properties.
