35CrMoV5 has excellent strength and toughness and is suitable for working conditions under high stress and impact loads. 35CrMoV5 has good high-temperature strength and heat resistance, and can maintain good mechanical properties in high-temperature environments. 35CrMoV5 has good forgeability and processability, and can be cut, forged and welded through general processing methods.

use:
Mold manufacturing: Due to its high strength and toughness, 35CrMoV5 is often used to manufacture molds, such as plastic molds, die-casting molds, and forging molds.
High temperature tools and parts: 35CrMoV5 is used to manufacture tools and parts working under high temperature, such as cutting tools, hot molds, hot tools and high temperature valves.
Automobile industry: 35CrMoV5 is used in the automobile industry to manufacture engine parts, crankshafts, connecting rods and friction parts, etc.

Heat treatment:
1. Solid solution treatment: Heat 35CrMoV5 to 910°C-950°C, keep it for a period of time and then quickly cool it to improve its hardness and strength.
2. Normalizing treatment: After solution treatment, 35CrMoV5 is heated to 860°C-900°C for thermal insulation, and then rapidly cooled by water cooling or oil cooling. This results in high hardness and appropriate toughness.
3. Tempering treatment: 35CrMoV5 after normalizing can undergo appropriate tempering treatment. Common tempering temperatures range from 200°C-600°C, and the holding time is adjusted according to specific requirements to obtain the desired combination of hardness and toughness.
