34CrMo4 has high yield strength and good toughness
34CrMo4 (1.7220) has good high-temperature strength and heat resistance, and can maintain good mechanical properties in high-temperature environments. 34CrMo4 can be cut, forged and welded through general processing methods, and has good processability.

use:
High-temperature pressure vessels: Because 34CrMo4 has good high-temperature strength and heat resistance, it is often used to manufacture high-temperature pressure vessels, such as boilers, furnaces, and heat exchangers.
Oil and gas industry parts: 34CrMo4 is used to manufacture parts and components used in the oil and gas industry, such as oil well pipes, oil pipes and pipe joints.
Temperature-limited parts: 34CrMo4 is used to manufacture parts that need to work in high-temperature environments, such as engine parts, automotive exhaust system components, and key components in thermal power generation equipment.

Heat treatment:
1. Solid solution treatment: Heat 34CrMo4 to 850°C-900°C, keep it for a period of time and then cool it quickly to improve its hardness and strength.
2. Normalizing treatment: After solid solution treatment, heat 34CrMo4 to 870°C-920°C and keep warm, then quench with water or oil to cool. This results in high hardness and appropriate toughness.
3. Tempering treatment: After normalizing, 34CrMo4 can be tempered. Control the heating temperature at 550°C-650°C. Keeping it in this temperature range for a period of time can reduce internal stress and improve toughness.
